Sephora Endless Color Blockbuster Palette

One of the most valuable makeup I've ever bought was the Sephora Endless Color Blockbuster palette. It has 187 different products, at a $435 value, but it costs only $48 for a limited time! I was so excited to experiment with all the colours when I first bought it.

In the set, there are both colourful and conservative eyeshadows, depending on what event you're going to. They all blend well together, and last for a very long time so you don't have to reapply. There are also a variety of lip glosses, but I didn't like them as much as the eye shadows. The colours are barely noticeable on my lips, unless I put a lot on. To me, they're more like really cheap lip glosses than something bought from Sephora. As for the blushes, I liked them a lot. They were long lasting and felt light. However, I don't suggest using them as bronzer. Just use a little bit on the apples of your cheeks, for some colour. The eyeliners are light, but they don't crumble or smudge so that's really good if you're going for a classy look. Lastly, the brushes are wonderful, except I suggest using a larger one for blush.

For such a huge amount of makeup and a really low price, I definitely suggest buying it!  Like I said, it is long-lasting so you don't have to waste any for reapplication. Happy shopping! =)

Olay Luscious Embrace Cleansing Body Wash

Recently I purchased a body wash from Olay's new line of body products. There are three new collections, Luscious Embrace, Silk Whimsy, and Purely Pristine. I went with Luscious Embrace because it has exotic scents of orchids, papaya, blackberry, and black currant. The product I decided to try was the Cleansing Body Wash.

I was somewhat disappointed because I heard a lot of great reviews about the new line, and it failed to have the effect on me that was promised. It would barely lather, even with a wet loofah. After two weeks I had to throw my loofah away because it had completely dried out and was rough. No body washes that I used before did this. I use moisturizer, but my skin needed double the amount because it was so dry. Also it is filled with chemicals like sodium laureth sulfate, artificial colouring and fragrance. The steam in my shower would make the scent very strong, but instead of relaxing and feeling cleansed from exotic ingredients, I felt like I was breathing in chemicals.

Overall, the only people I would recommend this product to are people who have oily skin or extreme sweating due to how drying it is. Also, maybe it would work better with the Luscious Embrace Body Lotion so if you're willing to buy both, go ahead and try it! (:

Burt's Bees Sun Protecting Lip Balm with Passionfruit

Summer is here, and it's time to protect yourself from the sun! Most people don't realize that you don't only need to protect your skin, but you should also remember to keep your lips safe. Last summer, my lips got chapped and dry from tanning outside, so I realized that if I'm going out in the sun, I need a lip balm with SPF.

Recently, I bought this Burt's Bees Sun Protecting Lip Balm with Passion Fruit, which is SPF 8. It provides UVA/UVB protection and keeps my lips moisturized and soft. It also smells great! I keep putting it on because it's so addictive! (:

It is 100% natural and one of my favourite products, but costs $4.49 so I recommend buying it for the summer only.
